BIRTHDAY DAY - DAY 28,105

With day 28,106  coming up tomorrow, I head into year 77.

This has been a rough 28 thousand days... and with my cognitive memory recall curse... I remember almost all of it !  Here in Oregon, the current (2020) Male life expectancy average is 79.3 years... on most charts, it is as low or high as 76.1  or 78.9 years.

Being a data-intensive person, I am aware of the variables in doing "average" estimates and how many outside factors "skew" the data, but, sitting in a parking lot and watching people should allow you to see how the "average" might not be accurate.

Obesity, and life's accumulated injuries, and diseases are on great display, add in the early demise from war, drugs, auto crashes, smoking, drinking, suicides, sports accidents, occupational injury, and ...just poor genes to begin with, all play into this "average" as well.

Mental acuity, and reasonable retention of the senses, and a safe environment should average out to mean many years beyond the "average" lifespan for most.

With today's abilities in phlebotics, scientists can tell (shortly after birth) what a person's lifespan will be (accurately) as well as what diseases they will be prone to, and what problem will (most likely) do you in.   This data of course would (should) never be revealed to you, the insurance or employers of the world.

DNA telomeres, glycines, and biomarkers of many different types are (and have been) well known for almost 100 years now, but it is a  denied science, protected by laws and moralities (for now).  and, the medical community will never admit to this knowledge (other than their own circle).

You can Google <Life expectancy test and quiz>, for a non-scientific "average", but, most likely your family history and lineage will be the determinant.   Me? Salt air kills, water carries disease, and too much seafood is not good for you, the big city tensions and the poverty all bring a person down, and bad weather year round will shorten your lifespan, so, what chance do I have ?

Thanks to everyone who chose to remind me, I think.
